Will investigate key chemical concepts and principles using one or more of the following themes: chemical advances in civilization, chemical processes in food preparation, chemistry of crime, chemistry of the environment, chemistry of soils and gardening. Prerequisites: MATH 065 (course no longer offered) or MATH 74C; appropriate placement score or grade of C or higher in ENGL 087; or permission of the Science division Chair or designee.
