Description
Concepts of geo-spacial analysis will be introduced in this course. These include creating, editing, dissolving, buffering and clipping features. Overlaying, exporting, importing, downloading and projecting data. Creating and using geo-databases. Geo-coding addresses, geo-referencing photos and model creation. The use of D.E.M. (Digital elevation models) and Lidar technology will also be discussed. ESRI ArcGIS software will be used. Prerequisite: CET 250 and ENGR& 111, or instructor permission. |
