Description
An introduction to GIS, ArcView GIS software and GPS. This course is designed to introduce the student to the powerful representation of visually displaying geographical information. It covers the fundamentals of cartography, geography, map projections, coordinate systems, attributes, and data formats as used in GIS. ESRI ArcGIS desktop computer software will be used exclusively to create, edit, query and analyze data both statistically and spatially. |
