Provides an overview of learning and motivation theories and methods that promote student success in the classroom. Empowers students to become active, responsible, and successful learners. Topics and techniques include: memory and learning, note taking, exam preparation and test anxiety, time management, goals clarification, learning style, concentration, self-awareness, financial literacy, and personal responsibility. Upon completion, students will demonstrate a clear understanding of the strategies required to meet their life goals. Co-requisite: Enrollment in at least one pre-college college-level course.
