Introduction to plant identification with emphasis on plants native to Eastern Washington. Techniques of collection, preservation, mounting, and flora identification through use of plant identification keys will be applied. Basic botany principles related to the structure and function of a typical flowering plant will be introduced. Lab work required. Prerequisite: BIOL& 100 or 211, or AGPR 113, 114 or AGRI 215.
