Master Course Outline Microbiology Course Number: BIOL& 260 Credits: 5 Hours per Quarter: 70 Lecture Hours:30    Lab Hours:40 Description Study of the general biology of microorganisms and their classification, morphology, and physiology with emphasis on the importance of microorganisms causing infectious diseases. Immunology will be discussed as it pertains to the microorganisms. Culturing and characterization of microorganisms are the focus of the lab. Lab work required.
