Examination of the formation of our solar system and the nature of our sun and planets. Topics include historical development of the science of astronomy. Lab work required. Prerequisite: Math 74C; appropriate placement score or grade of C or higher in ENGL 087; or permission of the Science Division Chair or designee. Recommended: READ 088.
