Master Course Outline American Sign Language III Course Number: ASL& 123 Credits: 5 Hours per Quarter: 50 Lecture Hours:50 Description Continuation of ASL& 122. This is the third course in a series of three courses that introduces the basics of American Sign Language (ASL). In this course students will learn appropriate ways to express emotion and opinion. Students will sign for the class from a creative work: poetry, a play, an excerpt from a novel, or some other written work approved by the instructor. Prerequisite: C- or better in ASL& 122 or equivalent course. Formerly COMM 109, American Sign Language III.
