Exploration of the relief, silkscreen, and intaglio methods of printmaking. Lab hours required and materials to be purchased. Prerequisite: ART 152. |

Skills and Attitude Outcomes |
Assessment based upon completion of print making projects and presentations, and performance on midterm and final critique (includes framing and presentation of the finished print[s]): demonstrating knowledge and skill related to a brief history of printmaking, the vocabulary of and for the printmaking arts, the basic principles of design, the roles of the artist and the observer, and the materials and methods used in sketching and preparation of a print, pulling, numbering, and signing a fine art print edition, matting, framing, and presentation of the finished print.
