Description Review of refrigeration systems. The student will learn air conditioning terminology and system safety. Students will learn the proper use of specialized tools and equipment used to test advanced HVAC control systems. The student will become familiar with all major components of a typical manual and electronic climate control system. Class will consist of hands-on practical application of concepts learned in the classroom. This course is structured to provide competency-based application of NATEF automotive repair tasks in a working shop environment and will provide students with the background and knowledge to take the ASE certification examinations. Prerequisite: AMM 171; Co-requisite: AMM 152 and 242.
