Description
Introduction to automotive ignition system theory, diagnosis and repair, emission systems theory, diagnosis and repair and on-board computer system theory, diagnosis, and repair. Students will learn to use automotive scan tools, automotive oscilloscopes, engine analyzers and other specialized engine performance tools. This course is structured to provide competency-based application of NATEF automotive repair tasks in a working shop environment and will provide students with the background and knowledge to take the ASE certification examinations.
