Description
Production and management of field crops designed to provide the most current information in the production and management of agronomic crops important to the economy of the Pacific Northwest. Topics include plant and seed sample identification.

Intended Skills and Attitude Outcomes
A. Ability to identify cereal, legume, forage and other important crops common to the Pacific Northwest from both plant and seed samples.
B. Ability to select crops and formulate plans to include fertilizer and ag. chemical applications.
C. Knowledge of field crop culture, production management, pest management, diseases, marketing and use of agronomic crops important to the economy of the Pacific Northwest.
D. Knowledge of morphology and crop growth stages, and grading and standards.
