Master Course Outline Orientation to Agriculture Course Number: AGPR 100 Credits: 3 Hours per Quarter: 30 Lecture Hours:30 Description A survey of the agriculture industry looking at different jobs, working conditions, employment structure, and employee-employer relationships. Each student builds a personal job portfolio to include letters of application, resume, references and job interview techniques. Intended Skills and Attitude Outcomes A. Knowledge of different careers in the agricultural industry. B. Ability to identify personal development and technical competencies for employment. C. Ability to develop short- and long-term goals and an educational training plan to achieve goals. D. Knowledge of employment interview techniques and critiques. E.
