Description
In-depth understanding of cost accounting systems and application of differential cost for decision-making. Also develops background for using budgets. Prerequisite: ACCT& 202.

Intended Skills and Attitude Outcomes
A. Knowledge of a cost object and the system employed to figure the cost.
B. Working knowledge of cost behavior patterns, i.e. fixed cost and variable cost.
C. A working knowledge of the planning and control functions as management tools.
D. Ability to create budgets and work with standards and variances.
