Description
Train individuals to troubleshoot irrigation system problems with an emphasis on center pivots and analysis of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Intended Learning Outcomes
  • Identify electrical components of irrigation systems and explain their functions.
  • Identify mechanical components of valves, center pivots and pumps.
  • Apply some general repair and maintenance of irrigation equipment.
  • Organize data collected through experimentation in report form.
  • Analyze agricultural sprinkler system.
  • Recognize installation procedures for sprinkler systems.
