Description
Covers word processing of legal document formatting including the use of legal templates to complete the production of legal documents. Provides a legal procedures background as well as use and understanding of legal terminology. |
Intended Learning Outcomes
Keying legal documents and correspondence.
Prepare court papers and legal instruments.
Compose and process general office and legal correspondence.
Organize a database system for legal office.
Maintain appointment calendars for attorneys.
Demonstrate the ability to trace the legal path of a legal document through the court system through interviewing legal administrative assistants, internet, etc.
Demonstrate the ability to proofread all documents for mailability.
Increase speed and accuracy by ten-words-a minute.
