Description
Introduces and develops advanced formatting and word processing functions for the creation of business documents. Continued development of keyboarding speed and accuracy as well as proofreading and editing skills is provided. Prerequisite: OT 125.

Intended Learning Outcomes
  • Demonstrate correct keying techniques.
  • Demonstrate correct formatting and editing of business documents using advanced features of word processing software.
  • Demonstrate ability to review/edit completed documents to identify and correct errors
  • Perform basic files management (directory, file saving, retrieving, deleting, printing, etc.).
  • Perform basic windows operation
