Description
Techniques used to simplify rational and radical expressions and to solve rational and radical equations will be covered. Prerequisite: Grade of C or higher in Math 78E, appropriate score on the placement exam, or permission of the Mathematics Department. 
Intended Learning Outcomes
Students will be able to simplify rational expressions.
Students will be able to solve rational equations in one variable.
Students will be able to simplify radical expressions.
Student will be able to solve radical equations in one variable.
Students will be able to factor quadratic type equations.
Students will be able to perform polynomial division.
Students will be able to find the natural domain of rational and radical functions.
