Description
Studies the technical and artistic elements of several culturally diverse full length classic motion pictures.

Intended Learning Outcomes
  • Identify and describe basic film techniques, such as camera angles and shots, point of view, editing, and mis-en-scence.
  • Identify and describe elements of film artistry, such as theme, genre, ideology, and authorship.
  • Criticize (interpret and evaluate) at least one film in regard to technique and artistry.
