Description
Through this on campus course, techniques and tools of yoga will be taught and learned. Yogic poses and stress management methods will be obtained through the introduction to relaxation exercises of breath work. Understanding the anatomy of the body through the yoga pose will be experienced. |
Intended Learning Outcomes
Demonstrate the basic skills necessary to perform the activity in which they have enrolled.
Develop a working knowledge of the techniques associated with the activity.
Assess fitness levels as it relates to the demands of that particular activity.
Improve fitness level through participation activity.
Develop awareness of opportunities and participate in the activity outside of regular class time.
Explain the physical and social values associated with activity participation. Value physical activity and its contributions to a healthful lifestyle.
