Learn the proper way to walk, enhancing and evaluating their own fitness level while developing a lifetime activity. |
Intended Learning Outcomes
Demonstrate the proper mechanics of walking – measured by instructor observation and feedback.
Explain how walking can enhance aerobic fitness – measure by written exam.
Develop a personalized walking fitness program – measure by assignment.
Assess own fitness level – measured by using the Rockport Walking Test.
