Description
This course will explore the theory, knowledge, and practical experience in speed and agility conditioning on various types of equipment to achieve personal fitness goals.

Intended Learning Outcomes
  • Describe the components and benefits of speed, agility, and quickness training.
  • Demonstrate proper body mechanics when performing acceleration speed training and top-end speed movements.
  • Outline the principles of over speed and contrast training.
  • Articulate concepts associated with healthy eating, fluid intake, and recovery.
  • Demonstrate proper stretching, flexibility, and injury reduction techniques.
  • Assess performance data related to speed, conditioning, and agility.
