Description
Third of a three-quarter sequence that encourages students to use their language skills more actively and at a more sophisticated level than the first-year sequence, this course provides a review and expansion of French grammar, development of conversational skills, reading literary and cultural materials, and writing compositions. Prerequisite: FRCH 202 or instructor permission. Formerly FREN 203. |
Intended Learning Outcomes
Use the present, past and future tenses in everyday French.
Demonstrate advanced abilities in the four skills of listening, writing, speaking and reading.
Appreciate the richness of French history through reading and documentaries.
Ability to read French short stories and novels.
Enhance understanding of grammar by continuously reviewing after each chapter.
Expand the everyday vocabulary thought extensive and diverse readings.
