Description
Second quarter of a first-year college-level French course that provides students with the basic tools of vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation, along with opportunities to develop proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing, while being exposed to the richness and diversity of the French-speaking world. Prerequisite: FRCH& 121 or instructor permission. Formerly FREN 102, French II. |
Intended Learning Outcomes
Identify the present and past tense of regular and irregular verbs.
Converse in simple everyday French.
Demonstrate proficiency in communicating in interactive contexts.
Demonstrate ability in the four skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing.
Appreciate the richness of the French language and Francophone culture.
Translate more complex French stories.
