Description
Introduction to operation, maintenance, and repair of industrial refrigeration and ammonia systems. Application of refrigeration and electrical knowledge acquired from previous courses to understanding operation and maintenance of industrial refrigeration with emphasis on Ammonia (R717) and safety. |
Intended Learning Outcomes
Identify components and state their function in an industrial refrigeration system
Demonstrate the ability to read a R717 MSDS sheet
Discuss proper handling and safety requirements for Ammonia Refrigeration
Discuss maintenance procedures for Industrial Refrigeration
Demonstrate knowledge of industrial electrical controls for R717 system
Identify safety and operating electrical and mechanical controls for an R717 system
