Description
Introduction to basic engineering graphic concepts, plan interpretation, and computer drafting skills. Emphasis is on isometric and orthographic drawings, line types, dimensioning, section views, auxiliary views, construction plans interpretation, and AutoCAD software usage. Formerly CET 141, Engineering Graphics.

Intended Learning Outcomes
  • Develop drawings using layout dimensions based on ANSI standards.
  • Demonstrate how to use engineering and architectural scales.
  • Apply knowledge to draft isometric and orthographic drawings.
  • Demonstrate ability to interpret construction plan symbols and drawings.
  • Demonstrate ability to use AutoCAD software.
