Description
This parent education course provides an opportunity to discuss and study relevant parenting topics for parents of two year old children. Discussions are enhanced through the use of current literature, filmstrips, videos, and guest speakers from the community. Observing and interacting with children provide the laboratory experience. |
Intended Learning Outcomes
Participate in a variety of parent education discussions pertaining to two-year old children.
Learn songs, finger plays, and creative activities to share with children.
Participate in guiding children through the socialization process.
Share the responsibility of bringing healthy snacks and supervise children while eating.
Learn to value the uniqueness of children in the laboratory experience.
