Description
Study of classroom behavior management by gaining practical and theoretical information relating to successful management practices in the classroom. Topics include provisions and practices necessary to establish and maintain an appropriate learning environment. Recommended: READ 088. Student may not earn credit for both ECE 170 and ED 170. |
Intended Learning Outcomes
Assess the impact of learning environment with behavior students.
Design, implement, and monitor a variety of classroom management strategies.
Create and present a positive reinforcement system.
Experience cooperative learning strategies
Research ADD/ADHD and other behavioral disorders.
Discuss importance of utilizing social skills as a method to improve student behavior.
