Description
Continuance of ECE 129, includes participation through on-the-job observations and initial and final self-evaluations. Includes participation in either the process of a training plan or in completion of the CDA credentialing process. Writing proficiency is emphasized. Coursework provides 50 hours of the required training for the CDA. Recommended: READ 088.

Intended Learning Outcomes
  • Explain the functional areas and competency goals #2 (Advance physical and intellectual competence), #5 (Ensure a well-run, purposeful program responsive to participant needs) and #4 (Establish positive and productive relationships with families.
  • Complete written statements regarding Competency Goals #2, 5 and 4.
