Description
A play for children will be cast, rehearsed, and performed in the schools of the four-county area. This show will also be presented in the WWCC theater several times. Rehearsals typically begin during fall quarter; performances occur during the middle part of winter quarter. Formerly THEA 195. |
Intended Learning Outcomes
Demonstrate improved ability to perform given tasks in the production of a live performance.
Demonstrate improved understanding of the given “tools/materials” used in the production of a live performance.
Demonstrate an ability to handle the special challenges/opportunities that come with a show that tours to a variety of venues.
Demonstrate an appreciation for the issues of responsibility/disclipine necessary to create a successful live performance no matter what element each individual is responsible for.
Demonstrate people skills necessary for effective ensemble work (teamwork) to occur.
