Description
The Web Design Specialist II course teaches basic Web technologies (such as basic Hypertext Markup Language [HTML], Extensible HTML [XHTML] also students will work with popular production tools such as Microsoft Expression Web, and Adobe Dreamweaver.

Intended Learning Outcomes
  • Use Web production applications and tools to create and manage pages and sites, create animated GIFs, edit graphic image files, and create multimedia files.
  • Define and implement advanced Web technologies, including scripting languages, Dynamic HTML, Extensible Markup Language (XML), Secure XML, RSS feeds, server-side technologies, Java applets and plug-ins.
  • Choose and implement basic Web technologies, such as X/HTML tables and frames, metadata, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
