Description
Designed to use advanced applications utilizing all components of desktop publishing. Emphasis on creation of student projects including: newsletters, business identity, brochures, and promotional materials. Principles of layout and design will be practiced.

Intended Learning Outcomes
  • Demonstrate ability to utilize a variety of word processing programs to enhance business documents.
  • Demonstrate ability to utilize design principles and typography.
  • Demonstrate ability to create and duplicate documents.
  • Demonstrate ability to critique documents using design principles.
  • Demonstrate ability to utilize desktop publishing software to produce professional-quality business documents for print, press, or online distribution.
