Description
Provides the necessary knowledge and skills to facilitate BLS training adhering to the standards of the American Heart Association. The student must possess a current AHA Healthcare Provider card to enroll. |
Intended Learning Outcomes
Effectively facilitate didactic material and perform BLS skills.
Identify and correct inadequate CPR performance
Discuss principles of remedial and psychomotor learning.
Verbalize an understanding of records management for AHA.
Discuss use and maintenance of mannequins, AED's, airway adjuncts, and related supplies.
