Description
Advanced instruction in surveying fundamentals with an emphasis on public land laws plus construction, property, topographical, and GPS surveys. Oral and written reports are required. Prerequisite: CET 160 or instructor permission. |
Intended Learning Outcomes
Complete topographical surveys.
Knowledge of property surveying.
Understanding of Public Land law.
Use GPS receivers.
Write lab reports and keep field records.
Use court house records for legal research.
Understanding of the care and use of survey equipment and field procedures.
