Description
Advanced instruction in surveying fundamentals with an emphasis on public land laws plus construction, property, topographical, and GPS surveys. Oral and written reports are required. Prerequisite: CET 160 or instructor permission.

  • Complete topographical surveys.
  • Knowledge of property surveying.
  • Understanding of Public Land law.
  • Use GPS receivers.
  • Write lab reports and keep field records.
  • Use court house records for legal research.
  • Understanding of the care and use of survey equipment and field procedures.
