Description
Introduction to engineering drawings using AutoCAD in the solution of a variety of graphic problems. Emphasis on advanced AutoCAD topics such as XREF, paper space, and custom menus. Prerequisite: ENGR& 111 or instructor permission.

Intended Learning Outcomes
  • Make and insert ANSI borders.
  • Scale drawings, text, and dimensions.
  • Make and insert blocks.
  • Knowledge of isometric drawings and views.
  • Knowledge of orthographic drawings and views.
  • Customize menus and icons.
  • Knowledge of paper space and XREFing drawings.
  • Solve problems using autocad.
