Description
Cooperative Education provides an opportunity for students to combine classroom theory with practical work experience. Experience gained in the workplace is directly related to the student's field of study or career goals. This formal training period is agreed upon by the student, employer, and instructor. Co-requisite: BUS 292. Formerly BA 291.

Intended Learning Outcomes
  • Accurately and efficiently perform assigned duties in a friendly and courteous manner and accept feedback.
  • Communicate effectively with a variety of people and contribute in a team environment.
  • Write appropriate and measurable outcomes to be achieved during the cooperative work experience.
  • Discuss measurable outcomes with both supervising faculty and employer and come to agreement on goals of the experience.
