Description
A comprehensive review of correct language usage and structure for business writing including: grammar, punctuation, business vocabulary, capitalization, and frequently misspelled words. Recommended: ENGL 077. Formerly BA 136. |
Intended Learning Outcomes
Use correct grammar and punctuation in oral and written communications.
Write paragraphs with effective complex, compound, and compound-complex sentences in the active and passive voice.
Write paragraphs that are coherent and concise.
Demonstrate editing skills for illiterate writing that includes comma splices, run-on-sentence, and sentence fragments.
Use correct punctuation.
Correctly apply the rules of capitalization to written material.
