Study of the economics and management strategies for raising and marketing the various types and classes of beef cattle.

Intended Learning Outcomes
  • Analyze the production cycle of different classes of cattle.
  • Identify and illustrate costs of beef production.
  • Prepare and summarize financial statements for a ranch operation.
  • Apply knowledge of production and financial statements to banking and procuring financing.
