Description
Introduction to procedure and sequence of writing collision damage estimates. Familiarization with body shop management. Introduction to material (physical) damage, insurance policies, and adjusting. Identification and repair procedures for plastic repair.

Intended Learning Outcomes
  • Inspect vehicle for collision damage.
  • Differentiate repair or replace procedure for particular damage.
  • Organize findings to formulate a damage report.
  • Create both a computerized and manual damage report summary.
  • Identify different types of plastics for repair or replacement.
  • Demonstrate plastic repairs using adhesive.
