WARRIORS STAY ON TOP OF EAST
The #1 ranked Warrior Women's soccer team won both games over the weekend to remain in 1st place in the East Region ahead of Columbia Basin. The Warriors defeated Edmonds 12-0 and Shoreline 1-0. Corrie Mcneill, the #2 goal scorer in the NWAACC, had 4 goals and 2 assists on the weekend including the lone goal against Shoreline in the 20th minute of action. Candice Duffy, the #1 goal scorer in the NWAACC, added to her total with 2 weekend goals. Justine Jones, Danielle Rodriguez, and Liz Homer all added 2 goals for Walla Walla.
The Warriors, 10-0-1 in the East and 12-0-1 overall, will travel to Green River on the 12th at 2:00pm and Wenatchee on the 13th at 12:00pm.

WARRIORS RECORD BLEMISHED
The WWCC women's soccer team finally has a blemish on their record after playing to a 0-0 tie versus Treasure Valley on Saturday. The Warriors outshot the Chukars 16-6 but they could not find the back of the net against a Chukar team that at times kept 10 players back on defense.
Walla Walla, 8-0-1 in league and 10-0-1 overall, will host Edmonds on Friday the 5th and Shoreline on Saturday the 6th at the Warrior pitch.

WARRIORS TAKE CONTROL OF EAST
The Warrior women's soccer team took control of the East Region on Tuesday with a 1-0 defeat of previously unbeaten Columbia Basin. The Warriors had numerous chances to score but only found the back of the net one time in a match that was not as close as the final score indicated. Alli Krous (pictured) scored the lone goal at the 74 minute mark. With that goal, she sits atop the NWAACC leader board for goals scored with teammate Candice Duffy. Both have scored 15 goals this year. Walla Walla has now scored 69 goals on the season and has given up 0. The Warrior women are still the #1 ranked team in the latest NWAACC poll.
Walla Walla, 8-0-0 in the East and 10-0-0 overall, will play Treasure Valley at home on Saturday the 29th at 12:00pm.

WARRIORS WIN AGAIN
Corrie Mcneill scored 3 goals as Walla Walla used another big first half to defeat Everett 7-0. The Warriors outshot the Trojans 35 to 0 for the contest. Alli Krous added 2 goals and Justine Jones had 2 assists.
The Warriors, 7-0-0 in the East and 9-0-0 overall will travel to Pasco to take on undefeated Columbia Basin on Tuesday the 25th at 2:00pm.

WARRIORS THROTTLE CARDINAL
The Warrior women's soccer team tied a school record for goals in a game by destroying Skagit Valley 13-0. The Warriors also tied another record by recording 8 goals in the second half. Liz Homer (pictured) got the scoring going off an assist from Justine Jones in the 3rd minute and Walla Walla never looked back. Homer added another goal and 2 assists, Jones had a goal and 4 assists, Corrie Mcneill had 2 goals, Alli Krous had 2 goals, Taylor Sinclair had 2 goals and an assist, and Hailey Bohnet had 3 goals to lead the Warriors.
Walla Walla, 6-0-0 in the East and 8-0-0 overall, will host Everett on Saturday at 12:00pm at the Warrior pitch.

Warrior Women Defeat Sasquach
The WWCC women’s soccer team remained undefeated and unscored upon with a 5-0 victory over league rival Spokane. Candice Duffy, the leading goal scorer in the NWAACC with 12, scored 3 goals and added an assist. Duffy got the scoring going in the 41st minute to give the Warriors a 1-0 lead at halftime. In the 2nd half the Warriors exploded for 4 goals including the final goal of the match by former Wa-Hi grad Hailey Bohnet, her 5th of the year.
The Warriors, now 5-0-0 in the East Region and 7-0-0 overall, will host Skagit Valley on Friday the 21st at 2:00pm and Everett on Saturday the 22nd at 12:00pm.

WARRIORS OVERPOWER GATORS AND KNIGHTS
The WWCC women's soccer team continued their early season dominance in the NWAACC as they rolled to two easy victories. The Warriors bested Green River 11-0 on Friday and then handled Wenatchee 7-0 on Saturday. Walla Walla has yet to allow a goal this season. Candice Duffy led the way with 7 goals and 1 in the 2 matches. Ali Krous added 5 goals and an assist and Corrie Mcneill had a goal and 3 assists.
The Warriors, now 6-0-0 and 4-0-0 in the East, will travel to league rival Spokane on September 18th match at 2:00pm.

WARRIORS MOVE TO 4-0 AFTER ROAD TRIP
The Warrior women put on a pair of impresive displays on the first road trip of the seaon. On Friday, Walla Walla faced Edmonds and came away with a 10-0 victory. Candice Duffy, Corrie Mcneill and Hailey Bohnet each ended up with 2 goals in the contest. Ali Krous had a goal and 3 assists. Saturday was yet another walk in the park as the Warriors bested Shoreline 6-0. Krous and Danielle Rodriguez both scored a pair of goals to lead the way.
Walla Walla, now 4-0 and ranked #1 in the NWAACC, will play host to Green River and Wenatchee September 14th and 15th at the Warrior pitch. Friday's game will be at 2:00 pm and Saturday's will be at noon.

WARRIORS WIN TWICE AT OWN TOURNAMENT
The WWCC Women's Soccer team won both of their matches over the weekend in the annual Warrior Invitational. The Warriors opened the season on Friday with a 4-0 win over Yakima. Corrie Mcneill (pictured) got the scoring going with a goal on an assist from Justine Jones at the 22 minute mark for a 1-0 lead at the half. The Warriors blew the game open in the 2nd half as Candice Duffy, Allie Krous, and Danielle Rodriguez all scored goals. WWCC outshot the Yaks 36-4 on the day.
On Saturday, the Warriors faced perennial Final Four opponent Lane. Corrie Mcneill again got the Warriors going as she scored 2 first half goals and the rout was on. Walla Walla added 3 more goals in the 2nd half and proved that they will be a force to be recogned with this season with an easy 5-0 win.
The Warriors, 2-0-0, will next be at Edmonds on September 7th at 5:30pm and at Shoreline on September 8th at 12pm.

WARRIORS READY FOR INVITATIONAL
The Warrior Women's and Men's Soccer teams will be hosting a 8-team invitational tournament this weekend. The Women's first game will be at noon on August 31st against Yakima while the Men will take on Piece at 2pm.
