Distance Learning Options

The Turf Management program expansion enables students to earn an AAAS degree entirely through distance delivery. Expanded and revised Distance Learning course offerings in the Water Management program allows current industry employees to participate in highly beneficial courses that benefit WWCC's partner, Nelson Irrigation. The Water Management program has been expanded to include Environmental Studies. Along with program and curriculum expansion, funding to build new facilities that will house the program was provided by industry partners and agencies.

Suggestions To Meeting Industry Training Needs

Expansion of the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning program to fully encompass Energy Systems Technology certificate and degree programs will lead to greater training opportunities in companies and corporations such as Bonneville Power, Northwest Food Processors and Manufacturers, and Rural Electric Associations, which provide essential energy to agriculture in the region. It is this strength of community, state and national partnerships that attracts students from throughout the nation to participate and complete agriculture programs at this institution and others in Washington State. We need your input to stay abreast of industry changes. If we can do anything for your industry, we need to know!
