Scholarships Available

Paul H. Scholten Memorial Scholarship and Francis A. Ariens Memorial Scholarship
Each school year, the Equipment and Engine Training Council awards ten scholarships of $1,000. Scholarships will be awarded to individuals pursuing a certificate or degree in power equipment technology at an EETC accredited school. For a list of EETC accredited schools, visit www.eetc.org. Applicants will be judged on their academic achievement, leadership activities, and student statement. Preference will be given to qualified applicants who exhibit financial need. A copy of your schools receipt of registration and class schedule is also required with your application.

WALP Education Foundation Scholarship
Washington Association of Landscape Professionals Foundation is awarding two $500 scholarships and through the Rick Pankow foundation two $1,000 scholarships. Applicants must attend a technical or community college offering a landscape/horticulture program. High school seniors planning on attending a college program are also eligible. Scholarships are based on merit, and/or need. Candidates will be evaluated on academic standing, industry and school involvement, leadership potential and financial need. Peaks and Prairies GCSA scholarship
The Peaks & Prairies GCSA Scholarship Program was developed to recognize outstanding students planning careers in golf course management and turf equipment management. The Peaks & Prairies Golf Course Superintendents Association, at their discretion, administers the awards and determines the dollar amounts each year. www.ppgcsa.org
