Health Science Education

Entrance Requirements

Most courses require a high school diploma or GED, and in some cases require an advanced level of certification or registration. Some areas do not require high school diploma or GED but have basic requirements such as reading, writing, and language proficiency requirements. Placement testing is required for all new WWCC students and specific healthcare programs may require additional placement tests. Nursing, Nursing Assistant, Phlebotomy, EMT-B, and Medical Assisting require a separate application for entry. Applications are available for download at program web pages, or they may be picked up in the Health Science Building Administrative lobby area.
