Description
Introduction to microcomputer applications using Microsoft Office software. Hands-on experience including: word processing, spreadsheets, graphical presentations, databases, operating systems, and basic internet access. Student may not earn credit for both AGRI 108 and CS 110.

Intended Learning Outcomes
  • Manipulate graphical user interfaces with mouse and keyboard operations.
  • Create, edit and save a written document with a word processing program using available reference material.
  • Define terminology related to computer components and software applications without aid of reference material.
  • Create, rename, copy and move computer folders and files using disk and file management software with aid of reference material.
  • Create, modify and save a worksheet with a spreadsheet program including graphics using available reference material.
  • Create, modify and save a database with a database program using available reference material.
  • Create, modify and save a presentation with a presentation graphics program using available reference material.
  • Create and send an e-mail with an attached file with no errors.
