Phi Beta Lambda National Leadership Conference Results
Congratulations Clarkston PBL Students
This past week, more than 1,600 of America’s best and brightest college students traveled to the Windy City to Step Up to the Challenge as they showcased their talents as future business leaders and vied for the opportunity to win more than $81,000 in cash awards.
Phi Beta Lambda (PBL), held its PBL National Leadership Conference in Chicago on June 24–27. Participants from across the United States attended this exciting conference to enhance their business skills, expand their networks, and participate in more than 55 business and business-related competitive events.
Two of our own Walla Walla Community College Clarkston campus students received national recognition at the PBL Awards of Excellence Program on June 27.
- Jessica Steeby competed in Client Services and brought home sixth place
- Dee Martress competed in Accounting for Professionals and placed seventh in this event.
DeVry University Federal Way also attended the conference to represent Washington State and had 2 first place events, 1 third place event, and 1 seventh place event.
All of these students worked very hard to get to this competition and were proud of their placements. They all did very well!
